Since founding In Motion Physical Therapy in 2017, Dr. John Besharse has been committed to redefining the patient experience through stronger clinician–client relationships and performance-driven care. What began in a modest 8x10 treatment space with a table and resistance bands has evolved into a thriving, expanded practice built on clinical precision, innovation, and measurable outcomes.
Dr. Besharse specializes in neuromuscular and orthopedic rehabilitation with a focus on the active individual. His clinical expertise includes sports rehabilitation, dry needling, soft tissue mobilization, ultrasound-guided interventions, vestibular rehabilitation, stroke recovery, balance and fall prevention, injury prevention, and advanced strength and conditioning. By integrating evidence-based assessment with state-of-the-art treatment strategies, he helps clients resolve persistent pain, restore functional capacity, and build long-term resilience.

As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Dr. John Besharse provides accessible, performance-driven strength and conditioning programs individualized to each client’s goals, movement profile, and physical demands. His advanced training supports improved athletic performance, optimized recovery, and long-term musculoskeletal resilience.
He also operates the only clinic in the state to offer in-house diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging, delivering real-time assessment and clinical insight within the same visit. This integrated model ensures comprehensive, efficient, and patient-centered care without the need for external referrals.

Dr. John Besharse, PT, DPT, Cert. DN, CSCS, NKT, CEAS is a Certified Practitioner of NeuroKinetic Therapy® and the only Doctor of Physical Therapy in Arkansas to hold this distinction. He also holds certification as an Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, providing advanced expertise in evaluating workplace biomechanics and postural demands.
Through comprehensive ergonomic assessments and individualized correction strategies, he develops targeted plans to optimize office setup, task performance, and movement efficiency. These evidence-informed interventions are designed to reduce cumulative musculoskeletal strain and lower the risk of work-related injuries in clinical and office environments.
​Ian Ford, PTA, FRCms, CPT, PDS
A graduate of Arkansas State University, Ian brings more than six years of clinical experience to In Motion Physical Therapy, where he joined the team in 2023. Since then, he has guided countless patients through rehabilitation with confidence, structure, and measurable progress.
Ian’s clinical focus includes neuromuscular rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, strength and conditioning, and sport-specific performance training. He is the only Physical Therapist Assistant in the region who holds credentials as a Certified Program Design Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer, and is certified in the highly regarded Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) system. His extensive continuing education and strong background in sports performance uniquely position him to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and high-level function.
A former high school football player, Ian understands firsthand the physical demands of sport and the discipline required to return stronger after injury. He is committed to individualized, goal-driven care—equipping each client with the tools, structure, and accountability needed to restore function, build resilience, and return to the activities they value most.
Outside the clinic, Ian lives the philosophy he teaches. Whether running trails, rucking, or traveling across the state with his wife and two children, he embodies the mindset he instills in his patients: move forward with strength.

Dr. Isaiah Cummings, PT, DPT, CSCS, FRCms
Isaiah Cummings is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, and brings a lifelong passion for performance and resilience to his clinical practice. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Arkansas State University. While in college, he also became a Certified Personal Trainer, building a strong foundation in performance-based training and rehabilitation.

Isaiah’s athletic background includes football, basketball, and track at the high school level, along with collegiate football experience. He also is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), allowing him the knowledge and experience to work with high-level athletes to weekend warriors. In addition, he holds the highly regarded Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) certification, equipping him with advanced strategies to enhance mobility, joint integrity, and overall performance capacity.
By integrating clinical expertise with firsthand athletic experience, Isaiah is dedicated to helping patients and athletes restore function, build durability, and reach their highest level of performance.

He is married to Haley Cummings and is a proud father to a baby boy. Outside the clinic, Isaiah enjoys strength training, recreational sports, and spending quality time with his family.
