DO PATIENTS NEED A REFERRAL FROM A PHYSICIAN PRIOR TO EVALUATION AND TREATMENT AT IN MOTION PHYSICAL THERAPY?

No referral is needed. Patients seeking care from a physical therapist are able to receive evaluation and treatment from the therapist of their choosing without a physician referral. This provides overall convenient and very specific care for patients.

Patients on MEDICARE DO REQUIRE a referral from a physician for Physical Therapy services unless it is a wellness visit which there is no skilled therapy required.

ARE PATIENTS OBLIGATED TO GO TO A SPECIFIC THERAPIST/CLINIC IF INDICATED ON A PHYISCIAN REFERRAL?
